Meet Me At Bergdorf Goodman For A Beauty Happy Hour With Guerlain

Join me today, August 27th at Bergdorf Goodman for a beauty happy hour with Guerlain! Guerlain has easily become one of my favorite beauty brands, and they just revamped their KissKiss' lipstick collection. The collection features 25 new stunning shades with an updated formula. KissKiss' unique formula is enriched with hyaluronic acid spheres, which gives lips a plumping effect. Commiphora Myrrha oil and mango also help ensure lips are silky smooth and hydrated. The texture is out of this world, so stop by! We can talk beauty, sip cocktails & celebrate. Hope to see you! RSVP HERE.

Oscars 2014 Beauty Favorite: Nude Lips & Sultry Eyes

The Oscars will soon be a distant memory, but the leading ladies' beauty looks will live on. The red carpet was filled with stunning dresses, sparkly baubles, and incredibly gorgeous makeups. The trend on the carpet was clearly nude lips and smokey eyes seen on almost all the nominated females, including Jennifer Lawrence above at the after party. We've gathered the best looks of the night and made a mental note to recreate these looks ASAP.

Case of the Mondays – 5 Beauty Products To Make It All Better

Image Via Pinterest

Happy Monday, Everyone! Just like that we bid adieu to the weekend and return to our Monday woes. Luckily, today is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (Happy Birthday, MLK!) and some of us get to enjoy a long weekend. For those that have to head to the office or work from home, here are 5 beauty products to make this Monday just a little more lovelier.

1. LORAC Lip Luxe 8 Hour Lip Color: You can never go wrong starting your Monday with a strong lip and these new Spring beauties from LORAC are just what the doctor ordered. Pucker Up!

2. NARSissist Cheek Palette: I'm such a sucker for beautiful packaging and NARS palettes always get me. I probably own at least twenty orgasm blushers, but one more can't won't hurt. That peachy pink shimmer paired with Laguna bronzer is the ultimate cheek. NARSissist, you know you need this. Hurry, these palettes sell out super fast and it's only a matter of time before this beauty is gone for good...

3. butter LONDON Boho Rock Collection: Unleash your Bohemian spirit with these stunning new butter LONDON shades. From rosy shimmer to peach crème, you kill time just staring at your pretty new manicure.

4. Guerlain Météorites Pearls: Guerlain just revamped their Météorites Pearls to make for easier application and more visible effects with every brushstroke. I love dusting on these pearls in the morning for a quick, instant glow that makes me feel like a million bucks. You'll feel just as good.

5. Clarisonic Pedi Sonic Foot Transformation: There is nothing better than coming home after a long day and soaking your feet. My new favorite gadget is the Clarisonic Pedi. It's a device that instantly smooths rough, dry heels for soft feet in no time. Using twice a week can renew feet to it's baby days. Best way to end a long Monday.

Any fun plans for the week ahead? Xo

Beautiful Products Await With Guerlain's Terra Ora Collection For Summer 2013

Guerlain's 2013 Terra Ora collection is an invitation to summer. Utilizing white and gold tones, which are showcased through stunning product composition and imagery, the Terra Ora assortment provides an unexpected and gorgeous contrast by playing with light and shadow, maximizing radiance and enhancing the inherent beauty of sun-kissed skin. Available at select locations of Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Sephora, Bergdorf Goodman, and Neiman Marcus

Products Of Interest: May 2013

1. Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Sci Fi Lullabie Lip Tar in Pris ($18): Pris is described as a "palest champagne metallic." Part of the sci-fi inspired collection, this lip tar is sure to impress as all lip tars do. I'm curious to try the metallic versions to see what kind of finish they give.

2. Ciate Chalkboard Manicure ($25): I've had my eye on this for some time. Something about the kit makes me want to bite the bullet and order one. I love the idea of releasing your inner child and doodling on your nails. The kit features black matte polish and chalk pens that can be used to draw on top.

3. Laura Mercier Baked Blush Bronzer in Ritual ($36): I'm obsessed with bronzer and I love that this product is a blush and a bronzer. Five complementary shades work together to create a perfect, natural color for cheeks and face. I can't wait to get my hands on this.

4. Guerlain 'Terra Ora' Powder Compact ($72): Guerlain summer bronzers are always gorgeous and so pretty that swatching them seems like a crime. I have yet to take the dive into a limited edition one (the price is a bit too steep for me) but this beauty may change my mind.

5. NARS ♥ New York Set ($75): The title of this palette drew me in (of course) and the shades are great for everyday. Laguna is one of my favorite bronzers and I can easily see myself using this palette over and over again.

6. ALTERNA Caviar CC Cream 10-in-1 Complete Correction ($25): The idea of a CC cream for hair is most intriguing and being that Alterna is one of my favorite hair brands, I know eventually I will have to try it. It's described as a miracle cream that perfects hair in 10 different and unbelievable ways. It provides moisture, shine, smoothness, softness, anti-breakage, heat protection, light hold, UV protection, manageability, and strength (woo). Gimme Gimme.

Any of these on your wish list?

Guerlain, Bite Beauty, & Stila Mini Haul

I was itching for some new makeup (as usual!). I got all of the above products from Sephora. Here some of the goodies I got:

I been eyeing Bite Beauty for a while and I'm happy to have finally picked up one of their lipsticks. I picked up Bouquet from Bite Beauty. It's a high pigment matte pencil. Bouquet is described as a "peachy pink". I'm loving this entire line. All their products are very smooth and hydrating on lips. I recently did a complete post on Bite Beauty's entire line. Retail is $24 at Sephora.

Stila's sparkle waterproof liquid liner's are new to the Stila line and definitely fun for Summer. I'm all about the sparkle lately, so I had to pick up the Rock Candy shade. I figured it would be a perfect addition for Fall as well since it's described as "sparkling warm brown." Retail is $22 at Sephora or Stila.

Stila's Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner in Purple Tang is one of the best eyeliners I've used. It doesn't smudge and wears all day long. Perfect for anyone who needs a long wearing eyeliner. Purple Tang is described as a "dark purple sheen." I definitely recommend it for anyone who is searching for that perfect purple eyeliner. Retail is $20 at Sephora or Stila.

Guerlain's KissKiss gloss is gorgeous. I'm totally in love with this shade. This shade is 848 (Brown Sugar) and it's the ultimate soft nude. It's super shiny and non-sticky. It's described as a "sheer warm nude." I think it's a MUST HAVE to anyone's collection. I considering also purchasing a few other shades as I love the formulation of this gloss. Retail is $30.50 at Sephora.

Show Me Your Bronzer!

Every since the weather has started getting warmer, I've been on a bronzer spurge! Everywhere I go, I'm looking at bronzers. I've always loved bronzers and what they can do for your complete look. Bronzers are great to wear all year round, but most popular in the summer time. You can apply all over the face and body to give a total glow, but the best way to apply is to the parts of the face where the sun would darken in the summer. The forehead, nose and tops of cheeks are the best choices. My favorite way to apply is to contour my cheeks and then apply to my forehead and nose.

Here are the bronzers I picked up this past month:

1. Anastasia Beverly Hills Sun Bronzed: I'm crazy about this bronzer. It gives the perfect glow and has a youthful synergy complex (brown algae) that is proven to smooth, firm, hydrate, and revitalize the appearance of skin. It also helps to minimize the appearance of pores and wrinkles. It's formultated without parabens, synthetic dyes, petrochemicals, phthalates, GMOs, and Triclosan. It's extremely long wearing and as great color.

Retail: $29 at www.sephora.com

2. NYX Cosmetics Bronzer Powder: When I saw this bronzer, I knew I had to have it. The packaging alone sold me. I love the blend of color that it offers and the fact that it has shimmer is perfect. You can use it on face and body (as with almost all bronzers) and is the perfect summer accessory. I mean, who wouldn't want this in their purse? It’s available in 3 shades (light, medium, and dark). The one below is the medium one. This is definitely a must have for summer.

Retail: $15 at www.nyxcosmetics.com

3. Sephora Collection Sun Disk: I purchased this bronzer on sale. An affordable $10 (whoop whoop) and I was super excited. I’m loving the large disk bronzers that are coming out. This one is the perfect soft shade of tan. You can apply just a little for a soft glow or a lot for a darker look. It is described as a, “peach copper glow.”

Retail: $10 at www.sephora.com

4. Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder #2: Guerlain is known for their AMAZING bronzers and this definitely lives up to the name. This bronzer creates a natural looking tan no matter what your complexion is. There are no lines or marks left behind and I love the texture. This bronzer also has moisturizing ingredients, so your skin doesn't dry out.

Retail: $49 at www.sephora.com

5. MAC Studio Careblend/Pressed Lush-Light Bronzed: I didn't think I'd love this bronzer as much as I do. The texture is really smooth and I love the soft glow it gives my face. The makeup artist who sold it to me even told me how much she adores this product. She already knows me since I come in there all the time and always shows me what is actually really great of their new product launches. I like the matte finish as well. Definitely a great product for summer.

Retail: $28 at www.maccosmetics.com
