When a fashion line comes out with a cosmetics line I always wait a while to review. My thoughts are it could go two ways -- the products can be awful or they can be amazing. Luckily, Burberry did it right. I'm throughly impressed with the entire line. I was fortunate enough to win a makeover at the new Saks Burberry counter with the lovely Justin. The makeover went amazing and I left impressed. You can see photos of the new Saks counter here. I was gifted these items after my makeover and loved the quality. Keep reading for swatches!

Smashbox Spring Collection 2012 Review + Swatches
Get All Laced Up With Lorac's New Fall Collection: Review & Swatches
Anyone who knows me knows that I've recently fallen in love with the cosmetic brand, Lorac. Everything about the brand screams red-carpet ready. I love the sexy packaging and the price point is never too high. The pigments are gorgeous and the products themselves are beautiful. I've never tried a product from the line I didn't like. Their new Fall 2011 was no exception. I received the entire line and I squealed with delight when I opened the box.
(Products seen above were sent for consideration)
I received the new fall line, which included:
*Close Up: Real Life to Red Carpet Natural to Dramatic Face Tutorial ($39)
*Ooh La Lace Palette ($36)
*POREfection in Fair ($32)
Lorac's Close Up: Real Life to Red Carpet Natural to Dramatic Face Tutorial is amazing. The price point is a low $39 smackeroos and comes with some of their best selling products. It's $120 value and here's what you get: Starry Eyed Baked Eye Shadow Trio in LORACstar, Front Of The Line PRO Liquid Eyeliner in Black, Multiplex 3D Lashes in Black, Blush in Soul, Couture Shine Liquid Lipstick in Trend Setter and a Face Tutorial Booklet with removable instructions that cling to your mirror. Isn't that bananas? I know! It's a definite MUST-HAVE.
This mascara is one of my new favorites. It's add length and curl!
I love that this eyeliner doesn't bleed like most pens do
The item from this line that I was most excited about was the Ooh La Lace Baked Shimmer & Matte Eye Shadow Palette. It includes: 6 Eye Shadows in Lust (cream with shimmer), Smolder (matte gray), Risqué (matte black), Stunner (light bronze with shimmer), Knockout (bronze with shimmer), Racy (matte brown.)
I've become annoyingly obsessed with anything and everything lace. It's just so sexy and feminine. It reminds me of some really hot tights or lingerie! This palette was even better than I expected. I can't wait to whip this out my purse. Grrrr.

Lastly, I received Lorac's new POREfection: Baked Perfecting Powder in Fair 01. I tried it on and I loved the finish, but fair was just way too light for me. I'm pretty positive I'd be Medium 04. I might just have to pick this up in my shade. This product is infused with Salicylic Acid and antioxidants to help skin appear youthful, healthy and clear. It gives a gorgeous smooth matte finish.
All and all, a definite hit again for Lorac. I just can't wait to see what's in store for holiday.

Be Guilt-Free With Josie Maran's New Fall 2011 Collection -- Part 2
Josie Maran Mascara: I have Josie's other mascara, which kept my lashes very soft & natural. This mascara gave me dramatic, full lashes. It extended my lashes out and I could feel that it was also conditioning them. It took my lashes to another level. Retail is $22.
(Disclosure: All products seen above for sent for consideration)
Argan Oil Brow Marker + Powder Duo: I love the color of this product and it's also versatile. It fills the brows very easily and has powder. Together, it makes for the perfect natural brow. Josie's tip is to use the marker to fill any sparse areas and then use the powder to shape to your desire. Retail is $27.
Lastly, I have the REM 2-1 Argan Eye Shadow & Gel Liner in two shades: Purple & Brown. The REM pens are really fun and easy to use. It took a minute or so to get used to taking off the cap and dipping it in and then taking the eyeshadow on the other end and using it. I eventually got in the groove of things and I'm excited to try some new looks with this product. Retail is $32.
So you take off the bottom and then dip the brush in here to use the liner.
The Brown REM pen is my favorite. I love the almost taupe like brown color of the liner as well as the matte shadow. Perfect for a natural eye with a pop of winged eyeliner.
I definitely recommend Josie Maran products to anyone looking for anything new that works. It's a great line with many products that work for everyone. I love that they have no limits on who can use it and that it infuses skin care with coverage. What more could you want? All products are available for purchase at Josie Maran or Sephora.
