Indulge Your Jewelry Obsession With New Online Fashion Jewelry Store -- Poshlocket!

I recently discovered my new favorite site to purchase fashion jewelry. The site is called Poshlocket and offers gorgeous products. Anyone who knows me knows that I'm a little obsessed with accessories and Poshlocket definitely gets me my fix.  Poshlocket is an online fashion jewelry store that brings you high quality fashion jewelry at an affordable price. Their styles range from edgy to elegant to modern. Anyone can wear pieces from poshlocket and fashionistas will find there is a piece to go with any outfit.

Poshlocket provides an easy shopping experience online and can be found on various social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter

Here are just some of the many gorgeous products Poshlocket offers:

Products of Interest: December 29, 2011

1. Bare Minerals Ready SPF 15 Touch Up Veil: ($22): I'm curious how this product will work on my skin. I used bare minerals on my face for years and then grew tired of it. I've read some good reviews on their new pressed products. (eye-shadows, powders etc.)

2. Smashbox Be Discovered Eyeshadow Palette ($44): This palette reminds me of a Disney princess. I love how soft the colors look and how girly the packaging is.

3. Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream SPF 35 ($39): The end of 2011 bought about the popularity of BB creams. Immensely popular in Japan, the cream has now become a go to item for many. When the creams first launched, they only came in one universal shade for light to deeper mediums. Now brands have gotten smarter and are launching different shades. I like that this Smashbox one has different shades and a fairly high SPF.

4. Sephora Prisma Chrome Eyeshadow ($15): These new eye-shadows from Sephora remind so much of the texture of Laura Mercier's best selling rose illuminater. I've seen them in person and they're gorgeous. The pigments are great and shadows can be used wet or dry. I haven't decided what colors I wanna pick up just yet.

5. Tarina Tarantino Dollskin Cheek Palette ($45): I've become a huge fan of Tarina Tarantino's line this past year. All her products are insanely pigmented and the packaging is always sturdy and fun. I've become drawn to blush lately and these shades are perfection. I like the idea of a cheek palette from a well-known brand. I already own a cheek palette from Crown Brush, but this is calling my name.

6. Chanel Nail Colors from Spring 2012 Collection ($25 Each): I own tons of cosmetics, but Chanel is one that isn't really seen all that much in my collection. I find their prices to be very high and mostly cause of their name. I've stood away for a while but this new collection has me intrigued. I'm loving these nail colors (especially June, which is the orange-apricot color). I'm on the prowl for the perfect orange and I think I found it.

7. Too Faced Natural At Night Collection ($36): I'm always a fan of new launches from Too Faced. I especially like their palettes for the small size. I like the color range in the palette since it's not just boring browns, which I have a ton of.

8. Laura Mercier Radiance Primer ($30): Laura Mercier is a brand I keep coming back to for complexion products. I recently tried their hydrating primer for winter and quickly became obsessed. I like the idea of a radiance primer for the summer when I want more glow.

Makeup Beauties: Jessie J

(Source: Ragged Magazine)

I don't think I'm alone when I say I'm obsessed, crazy about, in love with Jessie J. I'm in love with everything about her; her spunk, her style, her smile, her makeup, her hair and her amazinggg voice. She's got it all and she's definitely headed straight for the top. I was a fan from her first big U.S. single "Price Tag" and my love returned when she performed on the MTV Video Music Awards singing in a cast. She's taken the U.S. by storm and her newest single "Domino" is already climbing the charts.

The one thing about Jessie J that's also amazing is how awesome her makeup always looks. I don't know if she sticks to the same makeup artist, but I love that she has no fear when it comes to makeup. She'll try any look from Violent Lip tattoos to bold colors.

OPI Partners with Platinum Recording Artist Nicki Minaj to Launch Limited Edition Lacquer

Leave it to OPI to launch the most exciting celebrity collaborations of the year. From Katy Perry to Glee to The Muppets, they've got it all. OPI recently announced the launch of six new limited edition shades inspired by the one and only Nicki Minaj. The inspirations comes from Minaj's ever-changing style, love of bright, bold colors and her debut album Pink Friday. If you love bold, you'll love this launch!

OPI is so excited to work with Nicki in releasing these six new nail lacquers,” said Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director.  “Nicki has taken the hip hop world by storm, but her music is only part of the equation. She’s also become a fashion inspiration, noted for her daring costumes and hair color both on and off the stage.”

This collection includes a new hue in OPI's bestselling Shatter coat. The purple Super Bass Shatter is inspired by graffiti art and works when painted over any OPI. Adding a top coat takes Super Bass Shatter from matte to glossy.

Rebecca Minkoff G-Shock Launch Party At The Back Room

I had the fabulous opportunity to attend the launch party for Rebecca Minkoff's collaboration with Baby-G. The party took place at the Back Room which is an awesome speakeasy bar (in-case you don't know what that is:  a speakeasy is an establishment that illegally sells alcoholic beverages. Such establishments came into prominence in the US during prohibition. During this time, the sale, manufacture, and transportation of alcoholic beverages was illegal throughout the US) Obviously there are no more real speakeasy's bars, but this used to be one and the entrance is hidden. The Mrs. and I arrived super excited to check it out.

Rebecca Minkoff Launches Collaboration Timepiece with Baby-G

Rebecca Minkoff is one of those brands that gets you excited for new launches. I am an avid lover of Rebecca Minkoff's fashion line. She has the amazing gift to combine playful with edgy and help create any look you dream of. She's known for her luxury handbags, accessories and apparel, but this time she's teamed up with Baby-G to create her first watch.

Since this is Minkoff's first watch, she wanted to explore color tones and the use of contrasting materials to create the design. She combined black ion plated stainless steel with resin for the bracelet, and then added a pink champagne dial to give the watch a romantic touch. The Rebecca Minkoff logo appears on the dial and is engraved on the clasp of the watch. The matte black bracelet and pink champagne dial make the watch have a boyfriend like quality with a feminine touch. The watch embodies the tough girl, but still chic and girly.

Minkoff stated, “I’m so thrilled to team up with Baby-G, because like me, they believe in providing women with classics that have a twist. My collaboration watch was designed as the watch for the everyday woman that wants both function and fashion. Watches are a great accessory- I like to wear a rose gold one and it’s just a beautiful piece of jewelry that adds some fun and color to my outfits. Every woman has a go-to-accessory; I designed this Baby-G with this in mind.”

The watch displays Baby-G's signature functionality with shock resistance, 100 meter water resistant structure, an LED light, 48-city world time, five daily alarms, 1/100th second stopwatch, countdown timer, and 12/14 hour formats.

Style + Quality. What more could any fashionista want?

Retail: $200
Available Dec 2011 at fine jewelers, select department stores, and fashion boutiques.
I also had the amazing opportunity to attend the launch party for this collaboration at The Back Room. I'll be posting pictures shortly.

Will you be picking up this collaboration between
 Rebecca Minkoff & Baby -G?

Lorac Cosmetics Bejeweled Holiday 2011 Review & Swatches

Childhood ME rather excited about the Christmas outfit I'm wearing (Sometime after 1986)

The holidays are upon us and I'm a fan of this time of year for many reasons. There is just something about the holidays that makes you feel all warm & fuzzy inside. Sort of like a hot chocolate and a warm blanket on a cold winter day kind of feeling. My top reasons I LOVE the holidays are:

1. Family Time -- You can rest assured you will see your family more than ever now (even the ones you don't like.)
2. Holiday Decorations --There is just something about putting up a Christmas tree and decorating the house that makes you smile. Plus, the city is all light up and the windows are FANTASTIC.
3. Holiday Music -- Give me Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas Is You" any-day!
4. Gifts -- Ahh, yes, The one time of the year you can make a list of what you want and it may actually come true.
5. Food -- This actually starts around Thanksgiving and doesn't end till the New Year. YIPPIE!
6. The Mrs -- I mean, she makes me love everyday, but she makes the holidays so special by just being here and celebrating with me. Oh + she also has the cutest little excited face on Christmas morning!
7. Holiday Discounts -- It's like a giant sample sale all at once.
8. Holiday Beauty Launches -- Beauty launches get better and better each year. With it being so competitive out their for brands, they all strive to give you the best deal with the best products. The best time to shop is normally the holidays because you get the most bang for your buck.

That brings me to this fantastic holiday palette from LORAC. Yes, my friends, they've done it again. This box is jammed packed with all types of goodies: an ENORMOUS bronzer, two eyeliners, two glosses and two eyeshadow palettes; one for day and one for night. It's a steal at $56 and is exclusive to Sephora.

Lorac Cosmetics: Meeting Carol Shaw & A Sneak Peak At Spring Collection

I had the fantastic pleasure of meeting the lovely Carol Shaw at a Spring Collection LORAC 2012 preview at a gorgeous hotel in the city. It was a cozy affair with a select handful of bloggers chosen to get a sneak peak at the Spring collection. LORAC is one of my favorite brands, so I was ecstatic when I got the invite. I was greeted by the lovely Carol Shaw who is beyond amazing and humble. She is an incredibly talented woman who took her love of beauty and created a gorgeous brand.
