Backstage At Costello Tagliapietra SS13 | New York Fashion Week

This is my third time attending backstage at Costello Tagliapietra's show for NYFW. I started backstage with hair where I met with Nelson Vercher of the Rita Hazan Salon. The inspiration for the hair was 18th Century hair. The models hair was sexy and wavy. A curling iron was used to give the hair soft waves.

MAC provided the makeup for the show. The look was soft, but powerful. Extra blush was added around the eyes and cheekbones. Makeup artists used Face & Body Foundation that was applied lightly and Pearl Cream Color Base. The pearl cream left a somewhat dewy glow on the skin. The color used on eyes and cheeks were Right On Orange and Electric Spring from MAC's Spring 2013 collection.

The completed makeup and hair looked amazing on the runway and complimented the colors wonderfully. Costello Tagliapietra is known for their soft pieces that perfectly accentuate women's bodies. The pieces from this collection were romantic and sophisticated.
