With live tunes from DJ Mia Moretti and free-flow champagne in the background, this season's Alice + Olivia collection was a romantic, almost-Parisian fantasy world come to life. The collection, dubbed "preppy meets pretty" by Stacy Bendet herself, perfectly juxtaposed sportswear-inspired separates with over-the-top glam details and silhouettes. Texture and pattern play were key here: mixing color blocked ballgown skirts with crisp collared shirts and bejeweled jackets with distressed jeans and gold chains were a genius touch. And of course, it's not Alice + Olivia without standout gowns and new pastel renditions of their new handbag collection. It's a dream come true for Spring '14.
