5 Products You Need From Marc Jacob's New Beauty Collection

Unless you were living under a rock these past few weeks you definitely heard the news about Marc Jacobs beauty line launching. It was officially availiable for sale on Friday, August 9th at Sephora (in store & online) as well as Marc Jacobs online. You can also visit his new beauty boutique on Bleecker Street in New York.

The products are even better than I imagined. I was given a sneak peek a few weeks ago and I was immediately impressed by the quality. What I didn't realize what how amazing the entire collection would be. I haven't tried a product I didn't love. I've almost tested the entire line with the exception of the mascara, bronzer, and makeup brushes. Don't worry - it's on the top of my to-do list. So far I'm obsessed and trust me, you will be too.

Style Eye-Con No. 7 - Plush Eyeshadow (59.00) in The Lolita 206 -
The textures on these eye-shadows are buttery smooth. Not only are they highly pigmented, but they feel silky and wear for long periods of time. I opted for this more natural palette since I wear nude shades quite often.
Magic Marc'er Precision Pen ($30) - A liquid eyeliner inspired by the classic calligraphy pen for drawing the finest lines and achieving perfect definition. What I love about this pen is the color! It's super black and shiny. It lasts all day and doesn't smudge.

3. Lovemarc - Lip Gel ($30) - I test two shades - Strange Magic and Moody Margot - nudes, of course! Strange Magic is a great everyday warm pink nude. I see myself wearing this color more and more. Moody Margot is more brown and great to pair with dark smokey eyes. The texture is smooth and lightweight.

Genius Gel Super-Charged Foundation in 38 Beige Deep ($48) - You can build the coverage on this foundation from natural to full. I love how radiant skin looks after applying. The gel technology creates a natural veil that never settles into fine lines. I highly recommend this foundation for fall.

Enamored Hi-Shine Nail Lacquer in Gatsby ($18) - My nail polish collection is serious, but I knew I needed to add a couple of MJ shades to my collection. I started with this rose gold beauty, Gatsby to begin, and I'm so glad I did. It's a metallic champagne pink that will work on any skin tone and adds a touch of feminine to hands. The texture goes on smooth and leaves a shiny coat.

Did you pick up any Marc Jacobs goodies?
