Backstage At Tadashi Shoji SS13 | New York Fashion Week

Tadashi Shoji is known for his original designs and innovative collections. His Spring/Summer 2013 collection consisted of 35 looks that were both sultry and elegant. Colors included various shades of blue, teal, black, pale pink, and more. The trend on the runway was lace. Lace has been seen in all aspects of Fashion lately and will be seen next season as well. Backstage beauty was full force with M.A.C. Cosmetics running beauty, China Glaze working nails and hair by Cutler/Redken Salon.

MAC lead artist, Luc Bouchard
M.A.C. Cosmetics was led by lead makeup artist Luc Bouchard. The look was described as a "modern take on east meet west." Skin was prepped with concealer and then set with mineralized power (his favorite product) on eyes, lips and down the nose. No blush was added. Models wore lip conditioner on lips.

China Glaze painted nails backstage using two colors - Nude & Innocence. These sheer colors were topped with Seche's quick dry top coat.

Hair was led by Rodney Cutler for Cutler/Redken Salon. The hair was swept back for a sleek, sexy style.
