The Beauty Products I'll Be Using To Celebrate Halloween

It's almost Halloween! Time to eat all the candy and dress up. This year, I'm focusing on relaxing and keeping it simple with my beauty routine. Below are three ways I'll be celebrating.

First and most important is a fun bubble bath. It's easy with Lush Cosmetics. They always launch the cutest bath bombs and treats for an extra deliciously scented Halloween. You can choose from the bubble bars in Wizard or Sparkly Pumpkin, bath bombs in SparklerNorthern Lights, and Lord of Misrule, or a soap bar in Fairy Ring.

Next, I'll be celebrating with a creative nail tutorial. I can always count on my trusty JINsoon to create beautiful and spooky nail designs that are sure to stand out. Ghoulish Nails (seen below) are chic while still being festive for Halloween.

 Ghoulish Nails

Preparation Step: Apply a coat of JINsoon Power Coat
Step 1: Apply JINsoon Nocturne on each nail
Step 2: Draw ghostly shapes with JINsoon Kookie White at the tips of the nail (feel free to use your imagination with the shapes!)
Step 3: Dot JINsoon Nocturne where you would like the eyes to be with the very tip of the brush
Step 4: Apply a coat of JINsoon Top Gloss to finish it off

If Ghoulish Nails isn't your style, try Bloody Nails. These remind me of Dexter!

Bloody Nails

Preparation Step: Apply a coat of JINsoon Power Coat
Step 1: Apply JINsoon Kookie White on each nail
Step 2: With JINsoon Coquette, wipe off all the liquid from the brush on the neck of the bottle and with varying short strokes, apply polish from top to bottom of the nail Tip: Change up how long the strokes are for a more realistic effect and don't be afraid to blot it in a few places
Step 3: Go over the strokes you made with JINsoon Coquette using JINsoon Audacity in the same way, but apply it in fewer places. The goal of this step is to create depth to make the JINsoon Coquette look more realistic

Lastly, I'll be playing up my makeup look using Eylure lashes. These limited edition "BATWING" style lashes are perfect for a bold eye-look. Batwing is inspired by the soft, yet strong wings of a bat in flight. The lash is angled to the outer edge with peaks of increasing length.

  1. Eeek! Those bloody nails are bloody scary. They totally remind me of Dexter too - they'd be a great subtle addition to a Dexter victim costume :) That wizard soap is freakin' adorable. It's like a squooshed Dumbledore.

    Happy Halloweeeen!
