Spring Skincare Must-Haves | A Hydration Story

Let's talk about a serious issue for a second - hydration. After the cold winter months, our skin tends to be dry and in need of moisture. With spring here to stay, I figured it was a great time to share the products that helped me through the harsh winter, and also the ones that will be sticking around for spring. I'm really big on moisturizing. If you know me on a personal level -- you know I moisturize from head to toe every single evening. I'm obsessed. For me, dry skin is one of the worst things you can have. Since it's difficult to avoid, it's important to find products that work best for your skin. Above are a few of my top picks.

1. Benefit Fake-Up Concealer ($24) - I was given the opportunity to test the newest benefit concealer at a press event in the city. I was immediately blown away once I tried it. You can feel the moisturizing qualities instantly. Vitamin E and apple seed extract hide dark circles and diffuse lines for a silky smooth, ultra-natural finish. Availiable in three shades, it's proven to keep skin hydrated for six hours and won't cake or crease. This is a huge must-have on my spring beauty list. I've tried many concealers, but nothing has ever felt as wonderful as this does and covered as well. You have to try it.

2. Shaving is a huge part of any woman's life and Skintimate makes it a whole lot easier with their multi-purpose products. My choice for shaving cream is Skintimate's new Skin Therapy Skin Moisturizing Shave Gel ($3.79). It's a shave gel with lotion (hello perfection) and a special triple moisturizing complex of Vitamin E, Olive Butter and Sunflower Seed Oil. For blades, I stick to Schick Intuition Pure Nourishment with Coconut Milk & Almond Oil Razer ($9.59) and Schick Hydro Silk Women's Razor ($9.49). My legs are left packed with hydration and feeling smoother than ever.

3. When I want to skip the shaving and opt for a faster alternative, I reach for Veet products. I love how easy they are to use and how great my skin feels after using them. Hair grows back slower and skin is left feeling silky and hydrated. I'm a big fan of the Spray Hair Removal Cream ($7.99) and the Hair Removal Gel Cream Velvet Rose Scent ($8.79).

  1. These are really awesome products but apart from the cosmetics we must also pay the attention towards the antibiotic soap and similar products to avoid the skin infections

  2. Hey Kristine, I am a new Bloglovin' follower! I'm excited to explore through your blog. I just started my own lifestyle blog, It's so fun to find other blogs with similar content or just topics that I love to read about. I've actually never tried any "Veet" products before so this is stirring up some interest since I have sensitive skin and suffer constantly from razor burn. Thanks!

  3. Thanks for this. My skin is ALWAYS dry after I shave. I'll have to try these products out. I currently use the Aveeno shaving cream for sensitive and dry skin and it does nothing. Before that I was just using soap which I know is a big no no.
