MAC Chenman Love and Water Collection -- Lipstick Swatches & Review

MAC Cosmetics recently launched a collection with Beijing-born fashion photographer, Chen Man. The collection is inspired by her infatuation with love and water, yin and yang, pink and blue. The collection photos are absolutely gorgeous, but I was only tempted to purchase the lipsticks. The lipsticks are my favorite MAC products I've purchased in a while and like nothing I currently own.

MAC Force of Love ($14.50) is a matte lipstick that is described as a "vivid honeysuckle pink." It's a stunning color and definitely brings life and color to the skin. I'm secretly obsessed. It's just perfection in a tube and spring worthy. It wears on me like coral pink. This shade should work wear with all skin tones. Sadly, this lipstick sold out very fast, so it's no longer availiable. I imagine you can find it on Ebay.

MAC Budding Love ($14.50) is a lustre lipstick that is described as a pale lavender. I'm not a huge fan of lustre lipsticks because they tend to wear off quickly on me. I literally get fading after an hour or so. This one, however, wore three hours and seemed to have more pigment than a few others. I love the shade of Budding Love. I have been on the hunt for the perfect lavender lipstick for Spring and BAM! here it is. I probably should have purchased backups of these two shades since they are limited edition. This shade is definitely one of those you have to try before you buy. I don't think it will work on every complexion. Sadly, this one also sold out super fast.
