Beauty in Las Vegas: Rain Cosmetics Review & Swatches

Be Sexy. Be Seen. Be Different.

Have you ever seen an ad and thought, "I've got to try that!" That's what happened to me and the brand, Rain Cosmetics. I was browsing the internet (probably got blog sidetracked) and came across this stunning ad, the one you see above, and had to find out more about them. A tale of good marketing? I think so.

Rain Cosmetics is a makeup line born in Las Vegas. It's inspired by the city's glamorous nightlife. The products come in sleek, chic packaging and are all richly pigmented and give high-definition finishes. Rain is wildly popular in Vegas and names their products after the city itself. Names like Cabaret and Peepshow to Sin City and Strip Tease will have you craving more. It's got a sexy feel to it. The brand has it all; eyeshadows, blushes, bronzers, lip pencils, lip glosses, eyeliner, lashes + more. The brand does offer 40% pro discounts for makeup artists and I'd definitely add this to my kit if I were you. The brand can be purchased on their website here. It's also now the official brand sponsor for Miss U.S.A.

Beach Club Bronzer in Cabana Boy Casanova ($24) --  is a luminous bronzer that gives skin a natural looking glow. Think of on the beach getting perfectly bronzed. It's a lightweight powder that blends easily. It's ideal for bronzing medium to deep tan skin and compliments golden skin tones well. I'm definitely got golden skin, so this looked gorgeous on. It has a hint of shimmer, which made it just right. I think light complexions could use this as well, but only very softly.

Hello naked man

Glam Lipstick in Penthouse Suite ($22) -- This wore pretty sheer on me. It's meant to be a soft color that's highly moisturizing and that it was. It's infused with mango butter, grape seed oil, and Vitamin E. Definitely recommended for someone who wants soft color that's long-wearing and hydrating. The formula is available in shimmer and matte shades. I've got my eye on Bottle ServiceLimo, Showgirl, & Jet.

Gloss of Fame in Presley Pink ($18) -- OH.MY.GOD. This gloss is PHENOMENAL. I get so many compliments when I wear this. How this gloss is not winning tons of awards is beyond me?! It's the perfect pale pink gloss. It reminds of Nars Turkish Delight but better. Yes, I said it. BETTER. Let me tell you why. It's ultra-moisturizing, super shiny and long lasting. I love how full and sexy my lips look. It's great alone but even better on top of a lipstick. I'm sure I need another one already because I use mine so much. I'm gonna get a few more and some backups of this shade just in case.

High Roller Mascara in Rich Black ($22) -- Mascara is the one thing I probably have the most of. I probably own about 50 or so. It's always refreshing to find a good mascara since there are so many not-so-good ones out there. This mascara is smudge-free and is meant for drama. Think BIG, HUGE LASHES. It extends your lashes out and doesn't flake. My kind of mascara.

I definitely recommend to check out the brand for yourself.
